Greece, Paralia Katerini

Hotel Sonia in Paralia Katerini, the hotel where I always feel good, with Adriana Touristik

Hotel Sonia is the hotel of a very nice and kind Greek family that I met in 2019 when on vacation with my collaborating agency Adriana Touristik I filmed this hotel, for the first time. Although I was staying in another resort, a visit to Paralia was auspicious and I liked the hotel at first. A beautiful, comfortable, welcoming hotel, with modern furniture, beautiful and very clean rooms and very importantly good wifi at the reception and in the rooms.

On this occasion I met Mrs. Sonia, together with her husband and two children, young and very nice and with her daughter Aphroditi, we did our first interview which went excellently. The collaboration between Adriana Touristik and Hotel Sonia brought us together next year, the 2020 pandemic, but also this year when we stayed at Hotel Sonia for almost 2 weeks.

As I mentioned in a previous article, Hotel Sonia is for me ‘my home in Greece’ so if you are thinking of a holiday here, together with Adriana Touristik, it is a good idea, especially since it will not make a hole in the budget. Prices are more than affordable, 200 euros per person, 7 nights accommodation and bus transport until the end of August, when the price drops to 190 and 180 euros because from September 7 nights accommodation at Hotel Sonia with transport, to cost only 130 euros.

Hotel Sonia has first of all a very good location, it is a 4 floor hotel, located only 150 meters from the beach of Paralia and 200 meters from the center of the resort. Basically when you leave the hotel at the end of the street is the sea. The hotel has quite spacious rooms, with tiled floors with a kitchen equipped with hob, sink and refrigerator, dishes and cutlery.

The rooms are studio type, with 3, 4 or 5 beds are equipped with modern furniture, LCD TV and air conditioning (extra charge). The tiled bathrooms are also large and have a shower and soap is provided by the hotel.

The rooms have private balconies with table and chairs. The hotel has an elevator, a pleasant lobby, luggage room and entrance, faucet to remove traces of sand when you return from the beach.

Accommodation is self catering with towels and linen changed once a week. Entrance to the accommodation is at 2 pm and as usual the bus arrives in Paralia in the morning, until your room is ready, you can leave your luggage and serve a coffee or breakfast in the center, or why can't you start directly with the beach and a swim in the sea.

You have also the option for breakfast at the hotel for the price of 6 euros per person, 4 euros for children up to 6 years old.

At the hotel reception you also have the opportunity to register for optional excursions and I recommend you break at least one day from the beach to visit the surroundings or to go to even to Athens.

The prices are: Meteora 25 euro / person, Skiathos 35 euro / person, shopping in Thessaloniki 15 euro / person, Mount Olympus 15 euro / person, Pozar-Edessa 25 euro / person, Athens 50 euro / person, Piratik 25 euro / person . Waterland 30 euro / person, Greek Evening 25 euro / person.

I enclose the following departure dates as well as the payment conditions below. I wish you a wonderful stay because as I said many times, a vacation does not have to be necessary expensive to be beautiful and Adriana Touristik is a reliable agency with many years of experience and Hotel Sonia is the hotel of successful holidays for many Romanian tourists.
